Terracotta clay is pure magic. The clay functions as it's own kind of drainage system, pulling excess moisture from the soil. This is why it is best to use these pots for plants that don't require a monsoon of water to stay alive, like the Pothos, Snake plant, or Chinese Money plant. 

Ferns, day lilies and irises all need a lot of water, so try our ceramic or concrete planters for those beauties!
